Role Overview
Our client is a highly profitable, fast-growing QSR platform with 100+ outlets across India, including cloud kitchens, and a leadership position in its category. The business is entering a transformational phase, with plans to acquire multiple smaller QSR brands, build a diversified house of brands, and pursue an IPO within ~3 years.
They are hiring a CFO / VP–Finance to work directly with the Founder, owning financial governance, business finance, fundraising, M&A, and investor relations etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance strategy including FP&A, long-term forecasting, unit economics, and profitability models across outlets, brands, and geographies
- Own accounting, controllership, audits, compliance, and internal financial controls; ensure IPO readiness
- Drive process improvement and automation across finance systems and workflows
- Manage cash flow, working capital cycles, budgeting, and cost discipline across operations
- Track store-level, cloud kitchen, brand-wise, and regional P&Ls to ensure margin visibility
- Lead debt and equity fundraising to support acquisitions and expansion, including models, datarooms, and investor interactions
- Own investor relations, board communication, and pre-IPO governance standards
- Play a key role in M&A evaluation, financial diligence, and post-acquisition integration
- Build, upskill, and lead a high-performing finance team; partner closely with operations and leadership
Requirements
- Qualified CA with 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Prior experience in QSR, retail, consumer, or multi-unit businesses strongly preferred
- Proven experience supporting debt and equity fundraising and working with investors / lenders
- Exposure to M&A / acquisitions and integration in a growth environment is a strong plus
