Our client is hiring a CFO who will serve as a strategic partner to the founders and leadership team, driving financial strategy, growth enablement, and investor confidence. This role demands a forward-looking leader with a strong business/product growth mindset, capable of balancing top-line acceleration with disciplined financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership & Value Creation
- Own financial strategy to enable ARR growth, supporting investment decisions with robust forecasting and scenario planning.
- Lead financial due diligence, fundraising (Series A/B), and investor relations, ensuring transparency and credibility.
- Drive annual budgeting and resource allocation aligned with company objectives to maximize organizational performance.
- Execute pricing optimization and SaaS migration strategies, delivering measurable revenue uplift.
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, and investment strategies to safeguard stability during market downturns.
- Develop high-impact board presentations and MIS reports, strengthening stakeholder confidence and enabling informed decisions.
Business Performance & Decision Support
- Partner with the CEO and founders to shape operational cadence and reporting frameworks.
- Provide strategic advice to challenge authority, investors, and the board, acting as a co-owner of growth strategy.
- Implement profitability analysis across products, departments, and regions to drive data-backed portfolio decisions.
- Lead investment evaluations and ROI maximization initiatives to fuel sustainable growth.
- Contribute to margin improvement through cost optimization and efficiency programs.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance frameworks and processes are robust, while digitizing financial operations for scalability.
- Enhance investor reporting and corporate governance to support growth plans and international expansion.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered accountant with 15 + years experience as CFO/ Head of Finance with a proven track record in SaaS or technology-driven businesses with ARR-focused growth strategies.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, investor management, and delivering value creation (PE/VC exits preferred).
- Strong ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining collaborative leadership.
- Expertise in financial modelling, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency.
- Growth-oriented mindset with comfort in managing burn while prioritizing top-line acceleration.
- Possesses a well‑established career history marked by continuity and few transitions.
