Job Title: Financial Analyst
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (WFO)
Location: New Delhi, India
Shift: Day & Night Shift (Both)
Roles and Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst would be a key player in TAG’s growth story leading the vision from the front with following roles:
• Build and update a variety of complex financial models, including but not limited to 3-statement models, LBO models, M&A models, and valuation models (DCF, relative valuation, etc.)
• Work on business valuation assignments, complemented by thorough industry research, competitive benchmarking, and market sizing
• Create investor-focused marketing materials for live transactions, such as Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), Teasers, Pitch Decks, and presentations
• Analyze financial statements and apply accounting principles, key ratios, and capital budgeting techniques to drive deep financial and operational insights
• Coordinate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery of client mandates
• Organize financial data and maintain detailed client records and documentation
• Conduct critical evaluations of financial processes and outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
• 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling, investment banking, private equity, equity research, or related domains
• A sound understanding of financial statements, complex instruments, and accounting concepts
• Strong analytical skills and proven expertise in building robust financial models from scratch
• A creative, detail-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• A Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); CFA/CA (qualified or pursuing) will be an added advantage
